The Pro CNC Milling Package features a Sherline Vertical milling machine and a Pro 3-Axis CNC Conversion Kit.   This package is priced to save you money over buying separately.  Assembly time is approximately 2 hours.  Choose your base configuaration below then add your options and accessories.  Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

 The 5000-series mills feature a solid 10" (254mm) aluminum base, precision machined dovetailed slides with adjustable gibs, permanently lubricated spindle bearings, adjustable preload anti-backlash feed screws on the X- and Y-axes, two 1-5/8" (41mm) laser engraved aluminum handwheels, one 2-1/2" (63mm) laser engraved handwheel with thrust bearings, and many other features found only on the best commercial machines.  This machine can mill parts up to 9" long, 3" wide, and 6" deep.  This is the most basic mill package and does not include a drill chuck with drawbar.

 The model 5500/5510 comes eqipped with the same features and standard equipment as the model 5000/5100 but with the addition of upgraded adjustable "zero" handwheels.  A 2" (51 mm) adjustable "zero" handwheel is provided on the X- and Y-axes, while a 2-1/2" (63 mm) adjustable "zero" handwheel with bearings is featured on the Z-axis column.

 The deluxe 5400-series mills come equipped with all of Sherline's 5500 features upgraded to include a laser engraved 12" (305 mm) solid aluminum base for 2" additional Y-axis travel, laser engraved scales on the table and base.  Also includes a mill headstock spacer (P/N 1297) to provide more throat distance and a 1/4" drill chuck and drawbolt (P/N 3072).  This is our most popular model.

 The 2000-series 8-direction mill is patterned after the movements of the industry standard for full-size mills.  The column has been redesigned to offer four additional directions of movement compared to other Sherline mills.  Only 3 axes can be computer controlled, X, Y, and Z.

 4" Precision Rotary Table, CNC-Ready (Includes stepper motor mount ready for application of stepper motor.  Handwheel also included)  72:1 worm gear divides a circle into 3600 parts without interpolation.  Used for indexing radial hole patterns or milling radii or indexed flats.  Used on 3701 or 3750 to index for cutting gear teeth.  A mill with a rotary table is an extremely potent combination, making virtually any part possible, with size being the only limitation.
